A visual Conjuration study using simple elements to recreate hallucinated signals and search for the essence behind perceptual error.
Unit of truth uses the simplest visual elements to reconstruct hallucinated signals that appear during the deconstruction of reality in consciousness. The work treats mis-signals and over-signals not as failures, but as clues: errors through which perception adjusts itself and reveals fragments of essence.
This is a work that has been conceived for about two weeks. During the process, because I could not find a satisfactory perspective, I gave up at one point. Until recently, watching TV, I suddenly understood the reason.
I’m trying to use of the simplest elements to recreate my hallucinations, which I believe stem from some of the mis-signals or over-signals in the process of deconstructing reality in consciousness. Just as we adjust the system through mistakes, these misinformation also contain clues of “essence”
